We were very happy to welcome a special guest to our March 28, 2026 Posiden’ki gathering – Olya Grod from the Toronto Ukrainian Foundation (tufoundation.ca). The Toronto Ukrainian Foundation supports the Ukrainian Canadian community in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding municipalities by providing fair and transparent funding to initiatives that deliver meaningful, long-term impact.
This was Olya’s first time visiting our group, and it turned into a truly special evening. She joined our seniors in singing Ukrainian songs together with our wonderful teacher Mariia Taranko, who has been with the group from the very beginning. We’ve had many beautiful singing sessions with Mariia, and this one was no exception.
During the event, we decorated Easter baskets and eggs, shared treats, and spent time connecting through culture and tradition. It was a warm, meaningful gathering that reflected what Posiden’ki is all about.
We are very grateful for this growing connection with the Toronto Ukrainian Foundation. Their support helps us continue our mission of bringing Ukrainian seniors together, reducing isolation, and creating a strong, supportive community.
